WHEN: September 21, 2013
WHERE: Cumberland, MD. - McKeesport, PA.
Bike for a brother is a 140 mile bike trip from the Maryland State Line to McKeesport, PA. Money will be raised by riders getting sponsors, Brothers and Sig Alumni getting sponsors, obtaining corporate sponsors to have the companies’ logos put on t-shirts and our website, and the selling of 50/50 raffle tickets. All proceeds go to supporting our scholarship. For this fundraiser to work, we need to have at least 5 people to ride. This ride will be done by mountain or hybrid bike. The trail brothers will be riding is called the Great Allegheny Passage. It is an old Railroad Grade and it is surfaced with crushed stone. There is actually an iPhone app for this trail and ride and it is basically downhill from Maryland to Pittsburgh.

The year 2013 rings in a special occasion for Sigma Lambda Chi. We will be celebrating our 25th Anniversary and the unparalleled success that our organization demonstrates in breeding confident, established, charismatic, and strong willed young men.
Celebration festivities aren't going to kick off until Fall 2013's Alumni Weekend (October 3rd to October 6th). However, it never hurts to plan ahead. With that being said, please click "Read More" below to take a glance at what is, as of right now, our tentative schedule for the 25th celebration. These plans will have adjustments from now until we actually approach the weekend. You will be able to view these updates by clicking the "events" link above.

Who are we?
The Sigma Lambda Chi Alumni Association (SLCAA) has always been around in theory. However, just recently we have put a plan in place to take this to a whole other level. Our main goal now is to spearhead efforts to grow leadership qualities, provide guidance and resources, and promote fraternal traditions to men who attend the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford and who take the fraternal pledge to follow the ideas, principles and beliefs of Sigma Lambda Chi.
